A Cherub is an Angel, not all are human, a wolf roams the land.
Shielding puppies, what God gives, invisible helping hands.
Four eyes and wings, it may look universal, with a
guardian as protection, I can, I can.
An Angel’s wing’s! A covenant with God.
The Arch of wings and the choirs that sing.

When I was young I lived in “She-lo”.
When I got older, I lived in “She-ol”.
When a lot of people died, I lived in “Hades or Tartarus”.
When someone tries to kill me, I walk through the “Netherworld”.

Circles in the water!
Circles on the Grass!
Circles on the sidewalk!
Circles in the sand!

75 years of service, remembering the slavery bans,
In these years we also own land,
From their strength, faith, and perseverance we also say we can.
Some hand writing is on the wall, we follow Jesus, our writing is in the sand.
The wisdom our Parishners offer people go from “Bathsheba to Dan”.
Because of their contributions to our lives, we pray together with faith and say our Amen’s.
To their Leadership we ran.
Positive thoughts, hopes & dreams for us to develop they gave us a hand.
To enjoy their smiles, we looked at the women or man.
OUR DIAMONDS!!!!!
The brilliance out shines all.
The character like a diamond, was cut with each fall.
And then lifted up by such Saints as Paul!!!!!
This poem is written at the request of St. Mary Magdalene Church’s African-American Ministries in Honor of Parishners 75 years old.

It is hard to sit, look at, and deal with people who you know don’t like you!
Like is not a sound like, a babies coo!
It is joyous to sit, look at, and deal with people who do like you,
I don’t know who!
Whether you know it or not! They may be around a lot!
You may not know you are joyous until you loose it,
Relationships that last are not quit!
SOOOO enjoy your joyousness!

Please heal this brokenness so that I can go on.

love and God gave me a life that is new

touch and feelings I will give a few

my brown is a mixure of colors and hues

my relationships a view of you

knowledge of truth motivation “I Do”

I still interact and Bless, one time it may be you.

Made to flow water and rest water in gardens

Calms the spirit, gives life, even in cold.
Refreshes, Refreshes, Refreshes the soul.
